Calendar Review
Next, I review my TURO trip calendar for the upcoming days and note the trip start and end times to coordinate the day’s deliveries and returns. Working primarily out of the airport allows me to coordinate deliveries and pickups easily. Sometimes my team gets lucky enough to drop off a car while picking up another. It doesn’t always work out this easily, but it is certainly nice when it does. Most times, vehicle delivery and pickup involves two people. This is where having a partner is key. One person delivers the vehicle, and another person picks up the person from the delivery location. Occasionally we have to use our friends at UBER and get a ride home, although we only use this when absolutely necessary since it cuts into the trip’s profits.
Car Wash Time – Clean, Clean, Clean!
Our guests love the clean cars that we deliver, and it shows in our glowing reviews. We take pride in this step making sure to deliver a clean, disinfected, and perfectly maintained vehicle to every guest. While this task can be a tall order, we have developed a cleaning process that ensures we are cleaning our vehicles quickly and efficiently.

To help minimize car washing costs, we utilize car wash memberships for each of our vehicles at our local self car washes. To maximize our time, car prep takes place either the night before or the morning of the trip start time.
Time to Deliver!
Cars are delivered as close as possible to the trip start time. Once the car is delivered, instructions are sent to the guest with the car’s exact location. Most of our fleet utilizes TURO Go for our trips, allowing us to limit the time we spend on deliveries. TURO Go allows guests to access your vehicle directly through the TURO app.

Vehicle Pick Up
Cars are picked up as soon as each trip ends. We inspect the car, take thorough pictures, and document the cars condition through TURO’s easy check in process. If any damage is found or if the car was returned without a full tank of gas, this is when we can report the information to TURO and invoice our guest accordingly.
While being a TURO host is certainly not easy, we love it! Not only has it given us the ability to drive luxury cars for free, but it has also allowed us to become successful entrepreneurs and start a successful business.
